The Thompson Center on Lourdes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to mental, physical, and emotional well being of older adults by providing a comfortable, educational, social, and recreational environment for our community.  We strive to empower adults, to enrich their lives and enhance their personal growth.  We welcome participants by offering no residency restrictions or membership fees.

Mon-Fri  8:30AM - 4:30PM
Saturday & Sunday -Closed

CLOSING POLICY: 

When the Appleton Area School District closes due to weather, The Thompson Center on Lourdes will also close. When AASD has a two-hour delay, TCoL will also open two hours later. 



Sunshine Club

Please contact Emily Goddard at 766-2341 to send a card on behalf of the Thompson Center on Lourdes. We also have a sign up sheet at the reception desk on the second floor. Let us know of a participant who is in the hospital, has lost a loved one, is in need of support or celebrating a birthday.




Hot Lunch!



Outagamie county nutrition now has a 60 and older congregate meal site here at Tcol Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at noon. Hot lunch served on a donation basis. please call
  (920) 858-5619 
 to reserve your meal at least 24 hours in advance, then come and enjoy socializing with your friends, and the convenience of not having to cook or clean!

Whether you enjoy keeping active with line dancing or pickleball, trying your hand at cards, expressing your creativity, or simply sharing stories about life, love, and laughter... Come join your friends! Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Historical Society

Appleton Historical Society meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 7pm-9pm to discuss, share, and promote Appleton's history. AHS meetings are free and open to the public, anyone can attend! Each meeting includes announcements of historical interest and a featured speaker. Meetings are located in the cafeteria on lower level of St. Bernadette School.
